The Captain's Lodge, Albany, Prince Edward Island, Canada
The Captain's Lodge offers Sea views in the Albany region of Prince Edward Island.
In 1850, this grand old house was built by Captain Lewis Leard, with the intention of it becoming an Inn for Island visitors arriving by ferry at Gordon Point. Alas, the politics of the day determined the ferries should dock in Borden. It was not till 1991 that Captain Leard's dream was fulfilled and The Captain's Lodge established in PEI. Follow us down a beautiful PEI country lane to the Captain's Lodge Bed & Breakfast of Prince Edward Island, where your PEI adventure begins!
The central location of The Captain's Lodge Bed and Breakfast is a practical, ideal spot for an Island visit. We are 20 minutes to Summerside, 40 minutes to Charlottetown and a mere 7 minutes to the Confederation Bridge and Gateway Village. The Captain's Lodge is an ideal "home base" for your Island Vacation - golf everywhere, go to the beach, shop 'til you drop, dine in style.
